There are lots of tiny pieces of apples in this oatmeal and just enough cinnamon to keep your taste buds entertained. This instant hot cereal is a good breakfast choice for individuals seeking to add extra protein to their healthy eating plan without packing on extra calories.
5 servings per box
Prepare in microwave or on stove top (the preferred method) for a warm meal.
Microwave
1. Combine 5 ounces of water and contents of one packet into a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl.
2. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) for 4-6 minutes. (Microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed.) This tends to boil over. Put bowl under to control spilling. We have experimented and have had success at 80% power.
3. Remove from microwave, stir and let stand for 1-2 minutes.
Stove-Top:
1. Combine the contents of one packet and 6 ounces of warm water in a medium size saucepan. Stir thoroughly.
2. Bring to a low boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 6 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly less than desired consistence. The oatmeal will continue to thicken upon standing.

This is a great option for Oatmeal. I am disappointed that there are only 5 servings per box verses 7. It’s important when planning meals to have an accurate count. I would have given 5 stars if there had been transparency.

Great flavor, but the apple chunks were so-so! However, with a bit of cinnamon added, it helps the flavor a lot!

I love this oatmeal! I usually add a little extra water for creaminess and some dried fruit. Yummy!

I like this oatmeal but not as much as the maple and brown sugar.

I like this oatmeal reminds me of eating real oatmeal and I’m disappointed that it’s only five in the box.

The only breakfast I eat. I throw in some cinnamon to enhance the flavor along with raisins and a sliced apple. Pretty decent.

I’m disappointed in this oatmeal. Not only because there’s only 5 packets in the box (which I was not aware of), but because there are no stove top directions on the packets. With the Maple and brown sugar oatmeal, I tried it in the microwave a couple of times, but it always exploded. So then I started cooking it on my stove. This oatmeal needs to go in the microwave because the oats are not cooked (powder in the other oatmeal). And again, it exploded, so I didn’t get a full serving. The taste is not great, either. I’m probably going to return it.
